In 1938, Dr. M. R. DeHaan started a small radio program in Detroit, Michigan, USA called Detroit Bible Class. With his gravelly voice, Dr. M. R. DeHaan quickly captured the attention of listeners in the Detroit area, and across the border into Canada. Since then, the work in Canada has grown steadily from the radio program, to Our Daily Bread, the Discovery Series booklets, Day of Discovery television, and now the internet.
The Canadian ministry now operates three offices: the main office in Windsor, Ontario; an office in Trois-Rivières, Quebec to handle French translations; and recently opened in Vancouver, BC to handle requests for Chinese literature.
“Many, LORD my God, are the wonders you have done, the things you planned for us. None can compare with you; were I to speak and tell of your deeds, they would be too many to declare.” Psalm 40:5
